I could tell a difference in my drives from the first time I hit the ball! This is an outdated club, but it is a great one. I had previously owned one, and bought another one as a gift. It is not the newest technology, but for a beginner or a new golfer who wants to step u p from old or cheap clubs, this is a great driver. The good thing about the age of the club is that you don't have to pay a lot of money for a tour caliber driver.

The smart move is to get your handicap into single digits and then spend the big bucks on the latest geatest club. Until then, I recommend this driver whole-heartedly. Big berthas have a reputation for sending a ball straight. Even when I hit the ball to the right it wouldnt slice. Even though its not a monster s ize clubhead ,its big enough. I was using a cc billy club and the distance was about the same but the accuracy was much better with the Big Bertha.

If your on a budget and want a great all around driver there are alot of these available. You cant go wrong. It's just a great club, and while it's not as ridiculously huge as some of the drivers out there now, it's just a great club.

I've replaced my irons, fairway woods, wedges and putter in the last few years, but not my driver. Get one, you won't regret it!
