An elegant powerful wine, full-bodied and pleasantly warm on the palate with a phenomenally long finish. The savory palate shows black currant jam, licorice and vanilla alongside firm tannins. This tapers off long, washing the senses in currants and berries, with hints of grippy tannins that tug at the cheeks, kept fresh through mineral-tinged acids.
The Bonera, a blend of equal parts Nero d'Avola and Cabernet Franc, is fruit-forward but also quite balanced, providing a lot of upfront appeal. VAT , excl.
